I found a video of what looked like a collaberation between the band Evanescence and Creed. When I watched it I discovered it was AI generated. And there's no song that those two did together in real life. The male AI voice sounds almost identical to Creed's lead singer but the female one doesn't sound like Amy Lee. I was kinda mad after watching this. I guess a fan made it.


I don't mind a little AI artwork but this stuff that makes things appear real makes me angry and I don't like it. I don't know that I will ever fully trust anything I read or see anymore. I hate that we've been placed in this situation to begin with. I see no good coming from it in the future.

Did my breathing treatments and having some coffee. Hand has been hurting worse now. Doing my best to take care of it until I can get my supplies for it. The braces I ordered will be here the 19th maybe. I will do my taxes and then go buy my ring doorbell and get my stuff ordered from Amazon. I'm getting different compression gloves because I think the ones I have may have latex in them as I am getting some kind of rash or hives from them. :(

This one guy at work has a prosthetic leg because they had to amputate his leg cuz of his uncontrolled diabetes. He took a job with us that involves a lot of walking. And now every weekend when he's supposed to work he calls in and it's always his leg this and his leg that. Not sure how long he'll last before they give him the boot.

I am utilizing Uber today for a ride to and from work. I am tired and peopled out. The girl I was training is still dumber than a box of rocks. Last night my supervisor told me if I needed another linen cart to have her and her buddy do it. Next time I'll do it myself. Took her almost an hour and she kept having to call me. She can't follow simple instructions and she doesn't listen. I hate that when people are like that. So I'm guessing the first time she's on her own she will forget what to do and freak the hell out and hafta go home. Oy!

Me an my friends will start playing Call of Duty Warzone and I've dumped Fortnite. I bought a couple girly skins one looks like a prison inmate that escaped and the other is a valentine's day character.

Got this one on my birthday specifically because it was a birthday bundle with little birthday things to dangle on her guns. One is a cake. LOL!

It's been a madhouse in the unit tonight. After spending the last 30 min listening to a baby scream on top of everything else I have gone to the cafeteria for break and some peace and quiet. I still have a lot to do. Haven't even started on my 12 rooms yet.
 
Morning. Very tired from this whole week. I spoke with my supervisor about getting me out of the unit and somewhere else for a couple days cuz I just need a tiny break from it. It's been bad this week and working on my anxiety like a miner with a pickaxe to grind. If he strikes ore I'm gonna lose my sh*t. 🤪

Might be playing some Call of Duty tonight with a friend after work. I was doing some thinking last night and I think I can manage to make payments on my taxes and still keep my Xbox gamepass. I decided to keep my Walmart plus because it saves me over $100 a year on groceries and then some on shipping costs. When I get to the point where I can't play the shooter games anymore I have a fairly decent library of cozy games just sitting there to be reinstalled. I didn't have enough room for everything and don't wanna buy another storage card cuz they're not cheap. Like $50 to $100.

Having my coffee. Coworker is still sick and running a low grade fever. Doc never got back to him about his test results from his swab.

Next Thursday I will be going to get my taxes done. Not looking forward to this at all. Kinda scared.

It's been in the 50s during the day and 20s and 30s at night here lately. Since our winter has been so mild, I dread seeing what this summer is going to be like.

Last summer I noticed a huge difference in the amount of bugs I normally see. I've also started to notice that I am not seeing as many birds as of late. Will see what this spring and summer looks like bird wise. I am concerned somewhat about what climate change is doing to life outside the house with the critters.

Having an unusual day. For some unknown reason I feel really good. And a couple of the radiology girls are getting my little tens unit with some extra electrode pads for me.

They are so sweet! Totally didn't expect that. I got a gift card for the coffee shop in our hospital so I got myself a sugar free poppin peach energy drink. They're more natural than the canned.

Place isn't making me feel murdery tonight. Joke between me and one of the techs. LOL

My friend may or may not play tonight. No biggie cuz I have other stuff to play.

I am not a gamer but I really like how it gives you so much pleasure. Please don't think I am criticizing your gaming, but do you think perhaps that may be making your hands worse? I know sometimes just a lot of time using the mouse makes my hand sore. Don't know what kind of device is used for what you play, maybe not much hand motion? IDK.

I don't like that you have to postpone the surgery, which would most probably make a huge difference in your life, so I am thinking of what may help until that time. Could you start a GoFundMe account? Or maybe the facility that would do the surgery would set up a payment plan that you can afford? I so want you to be better and as pain-free as possible!

Nah. It's my job that's bothering my hands. It's from all the stuff I do with my hands at work as well as having to wrap them around the posts on the linen cart to push it down the hall 2-6 times a day 5 days a week. I don't game enough for it to affect my hands and I use a mouse for my laptop. I have an Xbox and controller. I know you're not criticizing. 🤗

I would never be comfortable starting a GoFundMe and asking for money like that. It's not just the money. I don't have the time off available to avoid losing my job. Last night a gal in radiology said her and one of the dayshift gals wanted to help me so they're buying a tens unit with extra electrode pads for me. I will do that for now. My braces should be here soon so I can start the rest therapy. Plus doing exercises for it. The tens unit should help a lot.

I will work on getting my credit card paid down and then maybe next year I can get the surgery. I'll manage somehow. I always do.
 
Afternoon friends. I played a little Call of Duty with my friend and then played some Valorant. Also a shooter game. I wasn't on voice chat but I hadn't turned it off and my teammates were making fun of me. I have decided I'm done with all the shooter games. I think I'm just getting too old for them. So I spent part of the morning reinstalling a bunch of my cozy games so I have nothing but that now.

Most are single player games so I can just chill by myself and control what is going on in game. I do better by myself anyway. Here in a bit I will hop back on and look for something to play. I need to get back to Cabernet and try to figure out what to do. The character was supposed to examine a blood sample but I never figured that out. LOL!

I think I'm gonna get something from Burger King later and then tomorrow I'm hiding from everyone. :)
