Learning How To Live Life

I don't eat gluten-free breaded frozen fish, but a Google search turned up the list below. That'll help with what to look for, although I don't know if you'll find any of them where you usually shop.

20 top Gluten Free Breaded Fish – Best Product Reviews
Sadly there's none. I would have to get raw fish and bread it myself. Not really up for that much work. Maybe when I feel better. Ty tho.

I've had no gluten today but will eat my last gluteny cookie when I get home. Have hardly had more than an itchy twinge a couple times today.

If you like cheese you can make keto crackers with that. Not a lot of work. Pretty easy once you know the recipe. Make a bunch in advance.

Thank you so much. I like the oven method. The other two would be problematic. LOL! I see no reason why I couldn't put some herbs or spices in the baking option. I really appreciate that. I love cheese!

I got all my groceries ordered for tomorrow. Whether I am able to get it all is another matter. They are often out of specialty items so we'll see. If so I will likely comment on it in the store rating and I might pen a letter to corporate.

If unable to get what I need I will hafta go through doordash and have them run to Dillons for me to get what I can and get some whole foods to keep from starving.

Yesterday all was well til I had a Payday candybar. Reese's pb cups are ok. The Payday apparently wasn't. Rash went crazy for a little bit. I also had a couple items at home that didn't help but I had to eat. Tonight I have a better plan for supper when I get home. The groceries I hafta get rid of I will see if my two guys that give me rides want any of them so I don't hafta throw all of it away.

I can cook up gluten free pasta and I have found sauces for that and I can top with cheese. It will take time to adjust cuz gluten free food isn't the tastiest stuff. LOL!

Anyway, I played Palia for a bit. Finished one quest then had another quick one. I have this long list of folks to talk to and quests to do. I have to go to this temple next and see about a bird called Silverwing that is not gonna be pleasant I don't think. I rented Bill Engvall's last stand up show off Amazon last night. Laughed so hard I almost peed. I watched a new episode of Elsbeth. The last one I saw was the one with the nuns. So I went to the sports episode. There's 2 more I haven't watched yet. Maybe tonight.

Our supervisor has one of the girls dusting and sanitizing all of first floor. She's special so she doesn't even understand what he wants and she's already talking about sitting all night when she's done. *RME* She's about useless. She makes more than I do and she doesn't do jack. It makes me mad. She makes about $4 more an hr than I do. They expect her to dust and she never dusts anything ever. She won't even go into the offices. She covered for me Monday and didn't go into the offices and the social workers trash was overflowing. But if I tell anyone they won't do anything so...*throws hands in the air*

Can't wait to get home tonight. Gonna do my breathing treatment and then try to get some salad in me cuz I'm starving! Dressing isn't gluten free but no choice in the matter. :(

Morning friends.
The reason I made that Google task sheet last night is because our task sheet for my area isn't even legible to coworkers. I'm trying to avoid bothering the boss with it so, I'll see what happens when I print it off at work.

So after yesterday I have decided I will no longer post any new threads unless absolutely necessary. Every time I do something is wrong with them and I don't particularly appreciate the way it's handled so I'm done. Someone else will have to keep us entertained I guess. (Rant over)

I sure hope that I get all the groceries I ordered. Thirty one items for just over $200. I know...😲 If they are out of everything I'm writing a letter to corporate to complain because if they're gonna advertise they have it, then it needs to be available. I'm tired of settling for BS anymore. If a person has health issues they need to be able to access what they need to care for themselves.

Training went well last night. This kid last night is more on the ball and I don't think he'll have any trouble.

I watched the new episode of School Spirits and NCIS Origins on Paramount+ last night while I was working on that task sheet. I had to Google for help but I got it done.

Will work on some of the easier quests in Palia today. Need a break from the hard ones.
*Edit: forgot to add stuff...I have some dishes to do and some washing. Waiting for my hypoallergenic stuff to get here before I shower.

Arm is still irritated this morning from last nights supper since it was gluten. I'm gonna miss my gluten. 😞

not looking forward to the taste of this stuff but, it is a necessary evil. i've bagged up everything for my ride to pick up later and then i'm gonna see if the other kid will drive me tomorrow to work and then i got food for him too.

it was almost $6 for 3 large eggrolls. the sam's choice gluten free white bread was 18 oz for nearly $7. i am disappointed with the high prices and small amounts of food but idk. i may hafta do something different long term.

time to shower!

I don't know a lot about celiac, but it sounds like a paleo style diet might help you. Your eating meat, veggies, fruits & dairy ... basically whole foods.

I know gluten free things are expensive, but have you thought of using corn tortillas. They are gluten free already & one site it said to check the packaging for possible cross-contamination. A lot of brands do put allergin warnings on things now.

I felt better when I did paleo. Once I cut the bread out of my diet, which was hard at first, I found out I didn't really miss it after all. I used lettuce leaves as wraps for tacos, sandwiches & things like that. I also found low carb wraps (still had flour) to use. What was the hardest thing was losing my desserts. I found some low-carb/no-carb recipes for desserts which were okay. I did have cheat days once in a while for real desserts, but I didn't overdo them when I did & still statisfied by sweet tooth.

I've been leaning more towards a paleo-style diet again. But I am still eating steel-cut oats & potatoes letting them sit for 24-hours to change the starch into a resistant starch.

You may need to do a little cooking to cut back on the grocery price, but it's not difficult.

Well, I will look into it but, I want to avoid gluten altogether for right now. I need to see what's going on. I've already started the meat, veggie and fruit thing.

Unfortunately I don't have a lot of time or energy for cooking so, I try to make do. But if this stuff will be this expensive I will look more at cooking.

Maybe I can do a little mix & match on those diets and find a happy medium.

I'm having a sandwich 🥪 and chips with the gluten free bread 🍞. It's not bad.

Later I'm having a gluten-free burrito with gluten-free tortilla chips and some French onion dip.

I am having some gluten free cookies and apparently haagen dazs ice cream is gluten-free.
