Learning How To Live Life

Well, I didn't get the dress finished on Animal Crossing cuz I went to a few treasure islands to hunt for Amish looking things. Will do more island hopping this weekend.

Gonna watch School Spirits and go to bed.

hmmm...no school spirits last night. must've forgot which night it's on. anyway, i watched the newest matlock episode. got the tens unit going on both hands.

so supposedly at work we're gonna be receiving training at some point in the future. we're just considered associates with just basic training. i guess the technician thing would give us more knowledge and supposedly get us more respect which i highly doubt. also we would likely get more money having this training. so i guess the plan is to bring some gal in that's gonna train us. no clue when they plan to do all that.

it's weird cuz every so often i keep hearing what sounds like a bird that's call sounds almost like a telephone ringing. i can hear it but can't see it in the tree. i don't think i've ever heard a bird call like that before in kansas. i wonder if we have a different breed of bird here for some reason.

this is crazy...saturday the forecast is for a high of 78 and a low of 39. then on sunday the high will be 49 and the low 15 with a chance of a little to 2 in of snow. then thurs and fri of next week in the mid to upper 80s. it's as if mother nature is taking salsa lessons or something.

Are weather is going to mimic your weather too in a few days. Saturday supposed to start out with rain in the morning & then chance of snow
in the afternoon. Sunday back up to 57F with thunderstorm & then on Monday 30F for a high & down to 13 at night with snow during the day. Tuesday 20F for day & night & then temp will go back up. We'll see how accurate they will be ... I hope they are wrong about the cold & snow. At least the ground is too warm for the snow to stay.

did a little looking. it might be a tufted titmouse i'm hearing outside. i can't see it though cuz it would blend with the brush and trees across the street.
I remember having heard one, one of the past years , that sounded like a trill or whistle or ringing, like you described....
And I remember trying to see it and figure it out.

But I don't remember at all, what I ended up thinking it was , or if I just gave up trying.🤷‍♀️😵‍💫🙄

We do have tufted titmouse, and plenty here, but idk.

So basically, I have no clue and am no help on that. 😁😄😆

We're also having some flip-flopping weather patterns here, like you are both describing, in your posts above;

Only I'm in the northeast, so our flip is not as high as yours is, 😉☺️

And our flop goes down lower than yours!
LOL

Well the back of the stove and the area behind and under it is done. I think that's all I'm gonna be able to do today cuz I don't feel well enough to do anything more.

"Several birds are famous for calls that sound surprisingly like a telephone ringing or electronic tone. Here are a few common possibilities in the U.S.

1. Northern Cardinal
  • One of the most common “phone-ring” sounding birds.
  • Their call can sound like a clear, repeating “cheer-cheer-cheer” or “birdy-birdy” that some people hear as an old phone ringtone.
  • Cardinals are very common in Pennsylvania year-round, so this is a strong candidate.
  • Often heard early morning or near feeders.
2. Carolina Wren
  • Loud, ringing “teakettle-teakettle-teakettle!” call.
  • Very bright and metallic, sometimes mistaken for alarms or ringtones.
  • Common around houses, shrubs, and garages.
3. Gray Catbird
  • Usually makes a cat-like meow, but it also mimics mechanical sounds including phone-like ringing or beeps.
4. Brown‑headed Cowbird
  • Their bubbling call can sound oddly electronic or ringing to some people."

odds are those wouldn't be in kansas though. i am pretty sure it's that tufted titmouse. i've never heard that call before and last time i heard it was a couple weeks ago and couldn't identify it then either. yesterday i stepped out onto the porch to try to listen to see where it was coming from. pretty sure it was across the street in the neighbors trees. maybe one of these times i'll luck out and open the door and see it on the porch like i do with the other birds. 😁

well, i've experienced my daily dose of rudeness on here already today so, i think i'm gonna go find some entertainment elsewhere til it's time for work.
Wha’ hoppened??
Briefly. Vaguely. Believe it or not “I” have been accused of being rude a time or two. I know that you didn’t mean me.
Just curious what sets you off

did a little treasure island hunting this morning for my animal crossing game. the new update has brought cat plushies so i have them all now. 😁

not you dear. i get annoyed at some of the name calling and various remarks that get made. i just don't get it ya know? i don't understand why some folks are just so hateful sometimes.

well, i have a gf pot pie in the oven. i don't really feel like eating but, i need to or i will feel worse yet. i hurt all over today. don't know for sure why. i at least got my dishes done. i need some coffee too. in my little amish island i'm making on my game i am going to build an outhouse. lol!

i haven't even had any coffee yet today so i'm gonna go make a cup here pretty soon. i might soak in a hot tub later. it's 75 in the apt and i haven't turned the a/c on yet. hoping i won't need to.

watching stuff on paramount plus today. still planning to play minecraft with my friend this evening. i need to get on the xbox before that cuz i think palia has an update.

i started watching tony & ziva. i think i'd rather finish ncis first then watch that. i got a few groceries and they didn't have my nasal spray so i had to get it at dollar general. i need to clean the caches on my apps too.

i'm still thinking of getting a fake security camera for the porch. maybe both porches. i haven't gotten the doorbell installed yet.
