Went out to breakfast and it must have been the two, tiny little, itty bitty sausage links, but had a tummy ache for the rest of the day.

I tend to get an upset tummy from sausages too. LOL

Big fan of NCIS and CSI but haven't watched Origins. The spin-offs usually disappoint.

If you like the mysteries, you might like Midsomer Murders. It's British so much calmer, less violent but I like it. Pluto TV has it so it's free and there are 24 seasons! I avoid the Channel and watch it On Demand. The channel tends to freeze up, I don't know why.

We may get some severe weather here today. Or it could go around us. That's Kansas for ya. One never knows. Having leftover cold pizza for breakfast. I think when the day shift gal leaves next month for retirement if I can find an all metal folding chair for our closet I will wheel that other thing to the basement that has the cloth on it that the bed buggy employee sits on. *Shudders* I haven't heard or seen anything that leads me to believe that anything has been done yet. After the meeting the risk management gal just kinda sighed and said well, I'll see what I can do. Riiiiight... :rolleyes:

Last night I watched a documentary on the boy bands from the 90s & early 2000s. Those boys were not only mismanaged but many of them were sexually abused by the manager that signed them on to a record deal and they got literally nothing financially thanks to him. It was sad to watch.

Today is our directors last day. Her stand in will cover until the new director is brought in. Then IDK if she'll take another position somewhere else in the facility or stay with us. I have no clue. The OT dept will be getting a new director and their current director will be over us and Maintenance and our new director. I think. :confused::unsure:

My left hand is killing me today. I hope I can make it til the 24th.​

Did 1 call in sick, to have a 3 day weekend?

OR, do you each get a turn to have the 3 days off, while the others do the extra work?
 
Morning everyone!

I actually got some sleep last night. I feel good this morning. Wish my hands had gotten the memo. *Shrugs*

I cooked up some gf gnocchi last night and poured my leftover tomato soup over it and melted some cheese on it and had a nice little dish for supper. Taking the leftovers to work with some bread and jelly. I'll get some more shredded cheese and a soda from the cafeteria tonight.

I was too tired to start on my new game. Probably won't til Sunday night. I gotta put in another grocery order for Monday.

This will be the last weekend our newer supervisor will work. He took over for the one that retired in the fall. He will be Mon - Fri like the other admin. So my ride will be our new charge on our weekends. So there may be times when he has to stay late so not sure how that will affect things. Don't know what they plan to do when his gout acts up. Oh well.

Hoping everyone is enjoying their Saturday. We got no bad weather here last night. Other parts of Kansas weren't so lucky. The high today is to be 66.​
 
I'm gonna hafta dig out my other inhaler cup that I can hook my Aerobika up to in order to help clear some congestion I've been having in my chest the past couple days. It helps loosen it so I can get it coughed up easier so my lungs don't fill up and get infection. That Aerobika was worth the money I spent on it.

It's been a good tool to help my lungs. I don't even know what I did with the other thing I bought. I'll hafta look for it. I should get my peak flow meter out and check that. Plus I keep neglecting the spirometer thing too.

My order through DoorDash didn't go as well. I got everything except the second bag of lettuce that was part of the bogo free and my ice cream. I had tipped and everything. I was so mad. I'm done tipping unless I get execeptional service from now on. I just can't believe they expect tips and can't do any better than this.

I had a salad and some gf cheez its. I'm snacking now on Mike & Ike's Mega Mix now. I have a gf supreme pizza for later. The DoorDash gal told me the ice cream was in the bag. I didn't know ice cream could turn invisible. Must be something new. :rolleyes:

Marci, door dash has a seniors hot line for problems with any order, I have
used it a couple times with good results...look in account section....don
