I do a lot of Facebook and Twitter but find they do not reach many contemporaries. Do you have success with this forum and do you recumbent it.:sentimental:

We all like to debate issues, discuss current news, talk about what was, and what might be. If you like jokes or funny stories, we have those too. BB, For some reason it is very slow today. Generally it's hard to get a word in edgeways. But you can always click on forums to get and idea of what's being talked about, and you can also see which subject get a lot of attention or not. Check out the humour forum, it can fill in time, until people can settle down from dinner and relax with there computers for the evening.
If you need to figure out how the forum works, just go to the bottom of this page, and click on "About Us". It is in the bottom right hand side, in the dark band. :wave:
 
I guess this is a good time to ask since I am new. Are there any particular rules or do's or don't that I should know about? Better to find out now that getting into trouble later.
 
bb......I'm on Facebook with high school classmates I graduated with. Not on Twitter, mostly too young of a crowd for me. When I came here, I was looking for a forum of people from my Generation (Baby Boomer) and older, no bad profanity (and we all know what "bad profanity" means). I found those things in this forum and very nice and definitely INTERESTING people. We all have our own opinions about different things in life.
Anyway, bb, WELCOME! Kick-back, enjoy and "talk away"!

Most people are US; with a good scattering of Uk, Australia, and a few NZ.
sometimes threads tend to stall, as we all sleep at different times; but they pick up again, when the East Coast awakes!

Never apologise for appearing to be boring.....
 
BB To be more specific, people SHOULD post their location up in the right hand corner of their post.

Every now and then someone will post something and say "here".....and we have absolutely no idea where hereis.

USA is a big wide open space. See what I mean ?
