Left Handed Irish Tasmanian Here

Hello Bretrick~ Looking forward to seeing pictures of your wildlife and landscape.

Thank you Ruby.
I do like to share the beauty of my country because there is so much to share.
My state - Western Australia - is 2.64 Million sq kms. More than 11 times the size of Minnesota 😲
Over the course of the next few months I will post some of my photographs in the relevant sections, once I find those sections🙂
One to whet your appetite

Are you as close as it seems, when you took this photo, above?
Or do you use a zoom lens to get the great close-up view?

That is very interesting. Thanks for sharing what it is like, to be near them, and to see them, in their own natural world. :geek:

I think you were referring to the Kangaroo?
Can not get close to Kangaroos, to wary of humans. I was about 100 meters from this one and used a zoom lens

Yes, that is what I meant. Even that is close, when considering a wild and free creature like that kangaroo, I know, so I did understand. But thanks for clarifying, in case I hadn't.

It is also a lot closer than I could get, to that kangaroo, from here! :giggle:
You explained above, the reason why we don't have any, here! (It's too cold for them!)

Many years ago, I took a very similar photo of a beautiful deer, in the woods, here in North America, near the border between USA and Canada.

Oh gosh, now I re-read the posts we wrote here, and I realize you meant that the comment of yours, previously, was about that previous animal photo, and not about kangaroos at all! Okay, I got it now!:LOL::ROFLMAO:(y):geek::whistle:

I have taken many photos of Kangaroos, always using zoom lens because if I try to get too close, whammo, off they go and the photo op is gone with them.
We have Kangaroos in our snow zones, though it does not get as cold as it does in your neck of the woods.
No my picture. It only snows one or two days of the year here in Western Australia. Melts within 24 hours.

:ROFLMAO: I know. I totally messed that one up. Will be more diligent in the future, making sure I connect the story to the relevant Photos.
Apologies are mine 😇

Agreed. 7.30 Wednesday morning here in Perth. Raining enough to water the Garden. Thunderstorm predicted for this afternoon.
I am house bound at the moment with a broken ankle. So still laying back in bed.
I hope the ankle will heal nicely. Takes a few or several mos. I've had broken ankles a lot. Ice helps as well as raising it on a pillow.

We are in a rainy season too right before Winter.
