That's too bad. The first time I saw Firefall was probably around 1979-1980 when they opened for The Marshall Tucker Band in a huge arena in Houston. They were a great live band and were much more a rock/southern-rock band live than their pop ballads that got most of the airplay let on.
Maybe ten years later, after their popularity had waned, I saw them again in a small (albeit packed) small club. I don't think David Muse was with them at that time, nor was their lead singer Rick Roberts, but they still put on a good show. They didn't quite have the sound of their heyday that made them big stars, though.
The time I saw them in Houston was one of my favorite concerts of all time. Great music that I saw with good friends. It doesn't get much better than that. I can still visualize it after all these years.
