Have you any idea how many times as a child and young adult I got clothing as gifts? And ALWAYS something I absolutely detested. So....not happening.
Are you suggesting sweats aren't real clothes??As long as they pick pajamas or sweats I am happy. I hate these days to put on real clothes and I avoid it as often as possible!
Those are real clothes, there have been many that dispute this fact. Pajamas are also real clothes as you can wear them in any Walmart. Just go next winter and check, everyone will be in sweats or pajamas. I just follow the trends LOL!!Are you suggesting sweats aren't real clothes??
My standard!real clothes as you can wear them in any Walmart
I knew you would see it my way, you are such a guy that knows high fashion in the south LOLMy standard!
I guess you could say I was also special. I made sure my Mom had many nice things. Seems like every time I showed up she would be in her recliner with a blanket but she was buck naked underneath it.As my mother aged and finally had to go into a nursing home, I chose her outfits for her. She had lots of clothes but as dementia set in, she'd want to wear the same ones all the time. After a mix up on in a home I wound up having to move her from (looked nice but was sub standard) I laundered her outfits and brought outfits for her to wear. I also bought her more clothes when she was in the home. It was necessary to spend down her assets from time to time. She was voted the (unofficial) best dressed in the facility.
Should have added that he doesn't buy my clothing for me, but when I need a dressy outfit I always bring him along to consult. He's also great at running things back and forth to the dressing room and doesn't mind doing so. He'll often say, "Oh, and I saw this on one of the racks and thought you might like to try it on, too."If people freely prefer to have their spouses choose their clothing, books, or whatever, who are we to argue with an arrangement that works for them?
My husband has excellent taste when it comes to my clothing - especially dressy outfits - and is a master of apparel construction. He quite likes shopping for women's clothing, which sounds odd but after nearly 50 years in the business it makes sense.
When DD purchased her wedding gown she had her father inspect it closely before she signed for it and paid the final amount.
Your neighbor has bigger problems than possessions.A neighbour isn’t allowed to keep anything unless her husband approves. Another neighbour went with her one day and found a lovely, conservative dress at a reasonable price and it fit her properly. It was returned because he didn’t approve.
They’re members of a very strait laced religious group. The man is in charge. Why any adult would permit that kind of control is beyond my understanding. As is why anyone would want to control another adult to that degree.
Yeah.... that wouldn't work for me. For more reasons than I can count. They’re members of a very strait laced religious group. The man is in charge.
