Yes they can! Another pet that reminds me of our Deja! I know she's smiling in this because usually her little mouth is so tiny, we tease about it and say she has a "mout"

Fizz.. she is a Belgian Malinois this was her .probably 12 weeks at most...she was bought to train alongside our Doberman as a security dog..

cute as can be... and this is her just about 3 or 4 months..

a Year later she was bigger than our then 9 year old Dobie....

I want to pay tribute to our Audra. We had her for 18 years. We went to pick her up from a lady in town who had a litter she needed to find homes for. Audra was my second choice because I first chose a male, but hearing that they sprayed urine if not neutered, I decided against it. She was probably one month old. I put her in a little knit purse I had and we walked home with her little head sticking out. She was not my first cat, but the first after I got my own apartment and the one we had the longest. She's been gone for more than 25 years, may she R.I.P @Murrmurr Your Pixel reminds me of Audra.
