Didn't find a thread on this case, never posted a thread myself so hoping I figured it out correctly.
This woman was granted a new trial on appeal. She killed her stepson and the number of things she did both before, during and after arrest are awful. Basically zero doubt as to her guilt but if I have it correct, there was a juror on her case that had a son in law who was an ADA in the DA's Office and I guess CO law explicitly prohibits that. There is a whole long appeals decision on it that can be found if anyone is interested and some that covered it and articles out there too.
Now also Lori Daybell (Vallow) has had the ID SUPREME Court agreeing to hear HER appeal. Another woman clearly guilty and convicted.
Not good news in EITHER case. I feel for the ones that loved the victims. It never ends for them.
