Has anyone wondered how one gunman subdued 320 people? Surely one or two of the people there could have overtaken the shooter. Of course one or two might die but it would be a lot less than 49.

Well he didn't subdue 320, that was the number of people at the club, most escaped. When the shooting started, most thought it was part of the music at least till the DJ turned down the music and by then, many had already been wounded or murdered, the people remaining who well held up inside was 30, they mostly hid in the bathroom, these were the ones held hostage, not easy to charge a man holding an assault weapon, one who did, a from a swat team in armored vehicle, took a bullet to the head, he was saved by his helmet.

I guess being the club was dark figured into the panic as well and not knowing directly where the spread of bullets was coming from, not easy to know where to charge, no way you had a chance no matter how many came his way with bullets spraying.

The Pink Pistols, a gay gun rights group say......."Guns did not do this, a human being did this"........the Pink Pistols contended that, "Armed queers do not get bashed".

Edit....sorry but for some reason the above link does not work and feel free to post the correct link........Google Pink Pistols.

A couple of hysterical gunmen could have turned the scene into a larger massacre. An unseasoned individual with a weapon poses as large a danger as the shooter. People are under the impression possession creates security. You know it's different shooting at an unarmed animal then an armed individual intent on killing you and does not mind dying in the process.
