Life can be F***** up sometimes

The world needs more love
I don't even know what to say, it seems the world is crumbling around me/us/everyone eventually?

Embrace the problems and hold them close, feed off of them, so they don't feed off of us. It's better to die in the field fighting than sitting in an easy chair, numb and oblivious. Troubles are guaranteed in this life, no one escapes. Poor me ~ some days, but I won't stay in that place, to do so is a slow death.

But perhaps I'll succumbed one day, after being beat down continually, we all, after all only have so much strength. Death is a release, do not fear it.

the problem with statements like 'deathis a release''.... is that we don't get to rejoice in it... none of get to say after death ''phew thank God that's over''....

we wuz robbed... :D

It is another door that opens to an even more beautiful life in my estimation. A bit like exiting the womb into this life, From darkness into a world of color and so many many different tastes and possibilities.

I believe that life or whatever we are, is a progression. It never ends.

Sometimes, the path we are on is indeed arduous and makes us wonder why it is so and how much longer we can endure it. It is at times like this that it takes all our efforts to re-focus. Try not to view troubles as beating you down, but as making you resilient and strong. We never truly know our inner strength until we are thoroughly tested. I really hope things turn around for you @Gardenlover. Death does open another door, but also remember, this life is for the living.

Two sons, one struggling with PTSD, the other one contacted me tonight stating his marriage "may" be failing, life happens I know, but I feel for the grandkids, which were groomed to accept non-sunstainable life styles. Live and let live is one of my life's mottos, until it becomes too asinine to make any logical progress.

But I love your feedback and conversation, please stay engaged.

That’s an intoxicating and IMO dangerous point of view that makes me wonder why we all don’t commit suicide so we can move more quickly into the world of color.

I agree that the world can be a cold and scary place when we focus on things that are out of our control.

Being thankful and content with the things that we do have and the things that we can control makes the world seem like a much nicer place.

@Aunt Bea, you are one of my favs, and I relish your thoughts, so happy to see you engage this thread.

In no way do I hope I implied that this life should be terminated before it has run it's full course, to do so would be like stripping key cords from a beautiful song.

I loved, "Being thankful and content with the things that we do have and the things that we can control makes the world seem like a much nicer place."

Let wisdom reign.

@Gardenlover-it seems we are on the same wavelength. I really understand your concerns-they are valid and come from a caring place. All anyone can do is just be there when needed. Everyone has their own path to walk on and lessons to learn. Much as we wish to, we cant walk another's chosen path. Just be there - your love for the grands will guide you.
