thankfully I have neither lost hair on my head or have it growing on my face....So why do we women have to lose hair on top of our heads and start growing it on our faces? NOT FAIR!

I'm not losing any hair, and I wish I would, cuz I got sick and
tired of trying to keep hair combed and neat, that's why I
have it all zipped off every couple months, like last nite in fact.....

Hirsutism tends to run in families and is more common in specific ethnic groups including women of Mediterranean, South Asian, and Middle Eastern descent; it is less pervasive in women of Asian and Native-American heritage.
Solution would be to get your hair cut to a reasonable length so that a good quality wig would fit right.

Nope, not a part of these ethnic groups. My hair is below my shoulders. I have learned ways to wear it to try to cover the thinning area in the front. I had very thick hair all my life. The thinning started after my husband passed. I think it was a combination of stress and hormone changes at a certain age.
Yes I have a little shaver/hair remover.

Thankfully, I haven't that problem. Several of my friends do and have asked me why. I tell them it's all about hormones.

I used to have thick hair, then it started thinning on the top. Part of the reason may have been due to overuse of perm chemicals in my hair. Once I even developed a sore. I didn't feel it but my beautician told me about it. I stopped getting perms and went natural. My (half) sister had the same problem, so was it hereditary, I don't know. I cut my hair down so it was real short. Having long, wooly hair is a pain (literally). Since I must cover my hair in public, it presented no problem for me. My sister's solution was a nice wig. And yes, now I have to shave those chin hairs at least once a week.

Tell me about it. My nasal hair grows so fast that if left, within a week it could be plaited.
What use is nasal hair? It's about as useful as a condom machine in the Vatican!
