I know this has been discussed here before, I was part of it but, I cannot find the old thread pertaining to it.

Has anyone ever tried it ? Any success with it ? For any condition .

Yes and yes. Perhaps I’m thinking about something differently altogether. Figures. 😂

My doctor told me- a light box should provide 10,000 lux units of illumination at a comfortable sitting distance. Make sure it is UV-filtered as UV rays are harmful to the eyes.

Look for a light with white light (shown to be more effective) rather than a colored light. There is no therapeutic advantage shown to “full spectrum” or bluish lamps.

Great advice. I had no idea about these but this is the one o purchased. It’s a Suntouch Plus by nature bright made exclusively for people with seasonal effective disorder. All of the lights are white lights and I ‘think’ they are UV protected. I’d sure hope they are since I leave my eyes open when I use it and it does seem to make a significant improvement especially around Christmas time. It even has little fans that cool the light and disperse the ions. ???
