One of the most photographed lighthouse in America - Cape Neddick Lighthouse, more traditionally known as Nubble Light, in York, Maine. I've been there numerous times. My family vacationed in the Wells, Maine area every summer from then I was 4 to 18. I have a print of a painting of it.

Penfield Reef Light​

Location: Long Island Sound

Accessibility: The lighthouse is not open to the public. It can be seen distantly from the shore of Fairfield and Bridgeport, but is best seen by boat.

The facility: Active U.S. Coast Guard aid to navigation. Lighthouse built in 1874. Light flashes red every six seconds; fog signal is one blast every 15 seconds.
