Won't get strung up by me TWH, I am too. So was my Dad and his Mother.
It has it's advantages sometimes when you keep it quiet. I used to delight in fooling some old fellas playing Indoor Bowls around the clubs. (played like 'mini' Lawn Bowls if you're not familiar with it.)
You've all met those bumptious old fellas who will show us 'younguns' how it's done, and have to win at all costs? I'd let them see me bowl left and mostly forehand, and make 'shocker' backhand shots, and they'd set up their bowls to stop me getting close to the jack, then I'd switch to the right and take it away from them back to where my 'shockers' were and wreck their whole day.:wiggle:
It only worked once per 'grump' but I could keep em confused for the whole game.

Yep. I'm definitely a baddun! :badgirl::redface-new:
The scissors are the bane of my life too, but I can use them in my right almost as well, so I can get around it.
While I can do most things either handed without thinking about it, some I can't. I can only knit right handed, but only crochet left handed.
I can't use a bat at all, in either hand, both feel wrong. Same with a rifle, neither feels right but I'm better with the right than left. Doesn't matter, haven't fired one for years and unlikely to want or need to again, anyway it was only targeting cans on the farm, I'm sure not built for hunting.:glee:
Were left handed kids, in the 50's, made to write right handed in schools there? We were. Then we were told we were hopeless, messy writers and treated as retards.
I'm not sure if teachers were idiots or sadists back then but making a left hander use their right, with the "pen pointing to the right shoulder" as was deemed proper, wasn't going to make calligraphers of us.:glee: (I did do calligraphy in later life just to spite 'em, unfortunately they were probably all dead by then so I couldn't show 'em!) It can be done left handed, you just write upside down and all the curves come out the same as right handed.
It makes life complicated sometimes though doesn't it? No wonder my head's so messed up.
