Listen, comment and then post your own

The point of this thread if for people to listen to a song and comment on it and then post another song for the next person to listen to and comment on before posting their own. Please keep your comments respectful. For example rather than posting "It was crap" or "That isn't music" try saying something such as "It was too noisy for me and lacked a melody", "I found it very grating and somewhat irritating" or "It really isn't something I'd usually choose to listen to".

Also please feel free to comment on multiple songs that appeared earlier, but you must comment on the previously posted song. If you do post on multiple songs please consider tagging your comments with the poster's username or the name of the song.

Also since we are an international forum please post the song and the artist as well as a YouTube link because some links aren't valid in other countries, but one can usually find a YouTube link for the same song that's valid in their country.

I'm just going to post this as the start of the thread. I hope some people will be interested in participating. If you are interested and you're the first poster after this note, please add a song to be listened to. I'll add to the thread later if it appears to be of interest to anyone else.

OMG! That is the best guitar playing I’ve ever seen & heard. AMAZING!!! I HAD to watch the entire video. What incredible talent.

I got too busy to get back to the thread earlier

Strangely enough I preferred the Sting version of the song but I didn't really like either one of them enough to want to listen to either again.

In the Sting version I loved the horns and the organ and I thought his vocals were more emotional to me. The lyrics weren't as clear as in the Springsteen version but that was actually a plus because I didn't really care about the story of the song once I heard what it was in the Springsteen version.

The Springsteen version was OK, but I really dislike vibrato in vocals so his vocal didn't really work for me in places. I also thought the more rocking sections of the song didn't really fit for me.

My song is Old Man performed by The Wailin' Jennys.

I loved the organ, the vocals were nice and there were song nice guitar sections. I thought it was a fun, upbeat song.
