It is in one of the most diverse and fun places to live with easy access to the beaches of the Pacific Ocean, couple of hours to the snow, couple of hours to Carmel and an hour from San Francisco. All of this adds up to EXPENSIVE, right ? We have retired and we let our home pay for itself. I have no housing cost each month. When you eliminate the cost of housing, most other expenses are the same rather you live in Detroit, Dallas, Seattle or Los Angeles.
