LiveMemory - what is it?

LiveMemory uses artificial intelligence (AI) technology to convert any still photo to a 5-second video, animating the scene in the photo. The AI was trained on a large number of photos and videos in order to create highly realistic results.

I'm not sure if I'm impressed or creeped out. How about you?

I saw a video where a still photo of two friends standing beside each other was converted into the couple embracing into a kiss.
I see nothing but trouble down the road with that...

This is amazing technology, but I wouldn't want to see a video like that of any of my own family. I already have enough trouble watching home videos I have.

nothing wrong withe the technology wots tricky is how WE individually emotionally process it - to each his/her own I say? [personally think its neat and would go for it]

One can expect it will be abused by those creating video porn fantasies and or those intent on publicly damaging reputations of those they dislike. So should be regulated with reasonable censoring.

the term "livememory" is a misnomer in this instance - a trick of the camera and imo not a very smart one??
