Livin' La Vida Loca

Wow, young free and rich! Woohoo!
For starters it would be:

Leap Up and Down and Wave Your Knickers in the Air

Then my all time great go-to-feel-good go-get-lost-in at full blast is:

Ride the Wild Wind

Then it'd be either

Shotgun

or go get high in:

Itchykoo Park

:cool::cool:

As a trivial slightly annoying post mortem comment, by this point Bob's well presented thread has vectored into just another "my favorite songs I want other's to listen to" thread because many members on any boards I've been a member of only seem to ever have patience to just read the last page on threads and then assume together with Titles what threads seem to be about. 🤔

I thought the thread was about being young, coming into money, owing transport (convertible) and going off into the sunset and feeling good?

Edited to add,

.... with your feel good music blasting out whilst riding off into the sunset

I was pretty self-destructive when I was 20, which explains my choice of ominous music for my "vida loca" road trip. I would have been under the influence of Jack Daniel's whiskey and various illicit substances. So, here's another from that mode.
Actually, the entire album is pretty ominous sounding.

I should point out to you youngsters that in 1966 (my 20th year) the music would have been on an 8 track tape. Prior to '65 it would have been whatever the local AM radio station was playing....

I did have a new VW Beetle in '66 but not a convertible.

Sorry if I took this thread off into another tangent. I thought it was about cool cars and rollin down the highway music.

Yea, that brings back memories in ways you probably understand. ;)
