Living room/sofa table that was missing something!

I’ve been looking for something to fill this corner of the sofa table, and also looking for a use for the vase a friend gave me that I hadn’t figured out what to do with.

Shoutout to my daughter Paige for gifting me her leftover whatever-they-are feather things because they were the perfect fit for the vase I didn’t know what to do with, and the corner I didn’t know how to fill!! Love when things come together as effortlessly as this did!!

I bought a really nice, expensive sofa table when I moved to Virginia and bought a new living room suit. I put the sofa table in back of the sofa and put a candle in the middle, pictures of my parents on one end and pictures of my grandparents on the other end in their memory and honor. I got tired of having to dust the table because it had a lot of fancy routing work on it. I finally sold it for next to nothing compared to what I paid for it.

I really wanted the sofa table but because it’s behind the sofa and against the wall it’s not so easy to get to. Which is why I had Ron make one that was 100% simple. Easy to dust, easy to push a swiffer sweeper between the legs from the side to dust the floor.
