Some members choose to withhold their location, then as they go along make statements referring to "here" which is meaningless without the reader having any idea where "here" is...
 

I'm sure Jim didn't mean EXACT location. Maybe just what state or country.
And I fully agree with him. Some posters leave us up in the air as where they're
talking about !
 

I’m one of those people that doesn’t worry too much about my privacy. My info is out there somewhere on the web anyway.

Those that know my name, know where I live..not rocket science. I have nothing to steal and I hope nobody wants to kill me.

I live in Fresno on Winery Ave. :)
 
Where I live is a bit like "Lake Wobegon" - it doesn't exist on any maps. I know this because a courier trying to deliver a parcel to my house, got lost in a field 10 miles away from me. I live in Scotland near a town called Banff. Sometimes people get confused and think it's Banff in Canada. The first president of the Canadian Pacific Railroad came from Banff in Scotland and Banff in Canada is named after him. That's your piece of trivia for today.
 
I strongly agree about letting everyone know your location, down to the city you're in. It is frustrating as heck when members place posts that reference their "towns," without mentioning the names of those towns.

At the top of my iPad it states, not secure-senior forums.com. I have only indicated a general geographical are for my location.
 
I put Texas Coast as my location, because I doubt if most people would know where Cypress, TX. is ... btw, it's about 130 miles down the road from TG ... :D.

I think thats a recent thing...Not Secure. I never had it in all the years I’ve been on here until recently but it’s also on other forums now also..I don’t worry about it.

I just checked all my other forums and they all have ..Not Secure.
