I agree..... it's the same with emotions.. takes lots of little tears but make a big tear and you've got a hole that would be difficult to repairIf you rip a hole in a net, there are actually fewer holes in it
than there were before!

if you don't want splinters look for a short one....If you have a long stick and what you need is a short one,
is it better to look for a shorter one, or is it preferable to break the long one into smaller ones?

I have been breaking the tops of trees for 30 years for kindling. Defintely use the long branches...you won't get any splinters.If you have a long stick and what you need is a short one,
