Real apples, that is. At the Borough Market place to celebrate Apple day, a day celebrated in England.

Yes..we have so many forgotten old varieties..that are not perfectly round..not perfectly red or green..and the supermarkets don't want them..they import such horrors as ''golden delicious''(taste like water)..''Granny Smiths''..(taste like lemons)

Yes...and I don't like apples that much.
i do like cooking with apples though...sometimes use nice eating apples, so no added sugar.

Yes....russets usually taste delicious; may need peeling though!

Sweet Jesus, Ms Bee, what a place to shop. Haven't seen anything close to this since the old San Antonio market and that didn't have the bread and many other things. Have you ever shopped this market?

I have been to Camden Market drifter but not the Borough Market.

There are several good markets in London.
