I second this. But Germany is the same. The X-mas market in Berlin is open too. It would be enough if this spectacle starts on the first Sunday of Advent.

Here's the switch on of the London Chelsea lights... fabulous...carrige rides and everything... the only thing missing is snow

We'll shortly be off to Hamburg for the Christmas markets. Younger daughter and her O.H. are joining us there. The markets (there are lots throughout the city, including the the LBQT one on Reeperbahn ) start next weekend and go on till Christmas eve.

On Dec 9th my missus and her friend are off to Gdansk in Poland to visit the Christmas market there for 3 days. Currently she's trying to find lots of warm clothing to wear as it's going to be freezing when she gets there.
