My mobile phone, it’s years old, I hardly use it anyway but thought it would’ve needed replacing by now

My computer speakers for one thing. I have read elsewhere that they don't last very long and I've had mine over 12 years. They are starting to crackle a bit now, though. Generally they still work pretty well.

A Carpet I bought and had fitted in 1980 in the dressing room.... . I've replaced every carpet in this house several times over in the last 40 years , but that Carpet remains pristine. It's pale green with a pattern ( axminster)...and not the style I would choose today, but I'm loathe to get rid of it because it's perfect condition...

A Bose surround sound system. Splurged on it more than 25 years ago (good grief, can it really be that long ago!?) and it's still working just fine. Sure, we still use a pre-amp for it because it's not plug and play like newer versions, but 'tis better to jury rig something than buy a replacement!

A Glock 17 (9mm) I've used in competition for 30 years. Over 18,000 rounds & still hummin'. I've never replaced any parts. And it has never malfunctioned.

A Sony Bravia TV that I got 11 years ago.

10-year-old Dell computer. (the mouse quit scrolling yesterday).

My Bose CD/radio which I bought in 2002.The first time I listened to a CD, I was amazed how clear the sound was and still is
I can listen to my favorite Canadian jazz station in Toronto which is 90miles away

Wow! That’s old.

I though my dryer was doing well ...it’s 16 years old, so is the washer.

But I live alone and only have laundry for myself and Pickles....and most of my things I air dry, except towels and sheets.

I don’t even like putting my undies in the dryer....I think drying things in the dryer makes them look old faster.

I agree that dryers are very hard on clothes but I’d be scared of getting mold from hanging stuff in the house only because I house is somewhat damp even with a dehumidifier. My favourite by far is hanging things on the line on a nice sunny day with a gentle breeze. You get that wonderful fresh air scent on the clothes.
