Look Out Your Window And What Do You See?

I see two boys kicking apart a half melted snowman....a little girl is watching....now of course they are kicking the snow in her direction :D

What's going on outside your window?

I see a stupid bright red Cardinal flying around and pecking at his image in our big windows, driving the cat nuts...also fog lifting and lots of pretty green grass plus a blooming Sweet Olive big bush. It has such a wonderful fragrance and blooms in the winter with nothing else much does.

I look out of the window, it's pouring of rain, I can see my lawns, trees, hedges, a shed, a Barn., the table and chairs, .. the bird fountain.. the bird houses on the fences.. the bird feeders... the flower pots...

I am laughing cause I'm thinking back to a cardinal that used to do that to the side rear view mirror on the truck....very territorial birds those Cardinals, they think they are attacking an intruder.

We had one that kept pecking at the car mirror too. Crazy, and the bird kept leaving his "deposits" all over the car. Drove my hub up the wall. He kept moving the car, thinking that would confuse the bird and it didn't help at all, no matter where he moved it in the driveway areas close to the house (and we have a big driveway) the bird found it.

Hub was about to get the long gun out till I reminded him the bird was "sitting on the Caddy"...you do the math on that repair job...lol.

This went on for weeks, probably till the nest was built and the chicks were out of the nest and on their own. He carried a spray bottle and paper towels out whenever we went someplace in that car to get the bird droppings off, mumbling to himself all the way. You're right, it is funny when you look back in your rear view mirror (talk about a pun) isn't it!

Well I see the snowman is gone, kicked to the curb he was :(

Now I see two people both walking dogs that are straining on their leash to meet the other dog....owners must not like the idea as they are having a tug o war with their respective dogs.

From my window I see my patio with too much greenery! .... but from my patio, I can see across the street to another apartment complex w/kids playing outside, and people coming and going in the parking lot. Past all that, from my 3rd floor view, I see over to a major heavily traveled road in the distance.
