Looking for a place to land

Sorry I'm late to the party, but welcome @Dave03. I can somewhat relate. I was hired by a company with 13 employees that was later absorbed by a company with thousands of employees. I found myself, at 54 y/o, suddenly having to deal with much younger employees who thought they knew everything and could become condescending at times. I was fortunate in that I was one of the few that had experience with my brand and a boss that appreciated me.

I just kept my nose to the grindstone, attended corporate meetings only when I had to and spoke up when I needed to. I was actually relieved when the company "retired" me at 63 to keep younger, lower paid, more inexperienced workers. Hang in there!

I wish you the best in your new position and hope you find some compatriots here in SF!
