Hi,

I'm going to prepare an Asian dinner, Chicken Satay, Egg rolls, fried rice and salad.

What kind of dressing would go well on a salad to compliment an Asian dinner? Something with orange, ginger, what else??

Any recipe thoughts are welcome. This problem always stumps me when serving Asian.

I almost always choose a Plum sauce (my favourite ) ..or soy, lime and ginger dipping sauce .. or what about a sweet and sour sauce for the egg rolls? **yum**

Hi Chic, I have made a kind of Asian slaw with shredded cabbage and carrot. The dressing was basic garlicky vinaigrette but with a few drops of toasted sesame oil added for that Asian flavor. Enjoy your diñner!

Thanks RR. That sounds like a possibility. I'll also follow some of the links, but I thought someone here might've had a sure fire favorite.

I've never served salad with an Asian dinner before, just fresh cut up cucumbers which compliment the spicy tastes of Asian food really well. :)
