Looking for advice for buying a new laptop

I get frustrated because laptops—and desktop PCs, for that matter—used to always come pre-loaded with Word, Excel, etc. Now all of that has to be bought separately. I accept that, but I'm not happy with it.

Thank you! I just took a quick look at the page and will read it in more detail soon. I'm contractually obligated to use the latest versions of Microsoft products (e.g., Word, Excel).
