looking forward, what are you looking forward to?

Looking forward to going to a cheese workshop up in the foothills.
It's a 4 hr class teaching us how to make mozz, chevre, and ricotta.

It's also a goat farm w/ a lot of products made from the goats. ^^^
Should be fun.
Sounds like fun. :) Cheese is a pure good in the world.
Do you remember those hilarious commericals, "Behold! The Power of Cheese!"

I would use sativa strains before indica. The "calming" effects of indica lead to tiredness, which for me leads to more anxiety. I don't like trying to stay awake & do stuff. The sativa is more of a head trip, gives more energy, and for me at least, being energetic reduces anxiety. Indica too much of a body trip; I rather be high than low.

Glad you've found something that works for you. :)

Looking forward to visiting my wife's high school friend in New Jersey, perhaps scuba dive while there?
Flying to Georgia to visit my brothers September 12-15
Taking psychedelic substance date/time undetermined
Visit wife's brother in Denver Colorado date unknown
Family reunion near Virginia July 4th
April or May Complete certification process for Open Water Scuba Diving.
Scuba diving time & location unknown
Did I mention spend more time with best friend, aka wife.
thanks for letting us know about your trips and uh, trip. Scuba dive here in Jersey? What do you expect to find? Jimmy Hoffa?

Complex PTSD. (I want to put a smiley or something here so I don't come off so curt, but it doesn't seem appropriate.) :/ lol
sorry to hear that. I have PTSD also. Non-military related. Violent crime victim. I hope you have found a good therapist. I really haven't. Have had some therapy directly related to PTSD / de-escalating the triggers and all...but definitely not enough.

Basically a money issue. If I had huge dollars, I could get a top quality therapist. But I don't. In Jersey, these folks are charging $350 - $500 per hour. And not easy to get insurance to cover it.

goat milk has caprylic acid. Makes it very healthy.

Caprylic acid is a type of beneficial saturated fatty acid that has antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal and anti-inflammatory properties. It's been linked to prevention of urinary tract infections, bladder infections, Candida, oral infections and many other conditions.

Oh, that sounds like a wonderful time!
There's a convent here in CT that makes cheese, but while they offer tours they don't hold classes.

Eating goat cheese and getting your daily dose of caprylic acid has been known, in some rare instances, to cause levitation. While this is amazingly exciting, it is recommended that your report your lift-off experiences to the local airports. I do. Pilots are generally quite rude to us levitators. I think it is mostly a jealousy thing. Especially when they call us "Taters." I am not a tater.

It's on Memorial Day wknd. She sold out of all the classes and had to add more.

I vaguely recall seeing a program about the nuns making cheese or bread at their convent. The place was old....
It's been a few years. It was really interesting.

I know it's really hard to find a good therapist and really, what you need is a specialist, I would think.
I see a pyschologist who specializes in Complex PTSD, Chronic PTSD and other major disorders and am fortunate enough (and grateful for it) that she takes my insurance.
I'm sure you know this and have probably tried it, but NJ is a medicaid state so you might have some luck there if you haven't already tried it.

I am disabled. About 5 years ago? I literally called every single therapist in my local telephone book. About 20. Not a single one would take Medicare. Not one. Not joking. Not joking even an inch.

Since then I have tried Talkspace and Better Help. They are basically weird and can be very little help. The anonymity really gives the therapist license to just phone it in and not be involved. I did have some good sessions, over a connection like Zoom...but frankly, the tech failed. The image would freeze or the volume would drop out or get very low.

Just could not continue with it.

Glad you have someone good. I have met many other people who have also found a good therapist. Hasn't been the case for me. Not for awhile. About 20 years ago, I had a good therapist. Lasted 8 full years, until he retired. very nice guy.

Looking forward to:
~Every step in the collaboration between my son and me to get my next album produced and released. I'm also contributing to his dance tracks and looking forward to how they'll turn out. My son, who is my studio engineer spends literally hours editing and mixing one song. I'd pay thousands if I had to use another engineer.
~Being able to get down to my timeshare in Atlantic City (NJ) for a week during good weather. I may take the bus down with my granddaughter when she returns to college from spring break. I'll stay for 2 or 3 days. but the weather will still be cool.
~Visiting my Honorary Son and his fiancee in Tampa, FLA, possibly within the next couple of months. I'm planning to book an Amtrak roomette. I've never done that before...usually travel in coach.
~Late spring. I always feel I come more alive when the trees and flowers start blooming.

Those are beautiful things to be anticipating. :)
My daughter can't fly and takes the train up the coast from FL to visit us. She rented a "cabinette" on one trip and said it was wonderful and very comfortable. So a sleeper care will probably be even more so - luxurios, comfy and scenic, peaceful travel. :)

best of luck with the album!!! Ages ago, I worked for Reggie Workman's sister. She had a natural foods restaurant in the Bay Area. I met him once. Those jazz guys were always doing gigs in Europe and Japan. So, he flew into the Bay Area to say hi to his sister, before flying back to NYC. I have to say that the people I met in the Coltrane circle were all amazing people.

I just went back and edited what I wrote. It sounds like a "cabinette" and "roomette" (what I changed the wording to) are the same thing. Maybe they are called different things according to the area one is from. I realized I worded it wrong because the roomettes are in the sleeper cars. Meals and beverages are included in the price of a roomette, as well as service by an attendant.
