We are retiring sort of. Anyway selling the business (a farm) to son and pulling out our involvement. Especially mine. In fact I had no chores last night or this morning.
We are looking at being involved in more and more of an advisory capacities in the next several years.
We've talked some about how things are going to be but I am still uncomfortable.
Hubby is a very domineering kind of guy and so far our conversations kind of leave me with the same of feeling of I do what he wants and then every thing is suppose to be OK.
But I'm not really OK with things but don't seem to know what I want to happen.
I have some health issues (COPD) that are going to impact us quit a bit and he doesn't want to be nice about it.
I'm already bored to death because I don't have much other than the house and yard to occupy my time.
Gotta find something more

Well, much as I'd like to offer up some helpful ideas at this point I can only offer a warm welcome to the forum. Maybe as time goes by others may have some ideas that help. Welcome.....

Hello dairy mom and welcome to the forum. Living next to a dairy farm for the past 35 years, I can imagine the vacuum your decision leaves you in. It has to be hard for both of you. Life has a way of filling in that vacuum for you. Give it time and try to "breathe easier". You will like it here.:)
