detailed-tourist-illustrated-map-of-north-carolina.jpgI haven't tried heat. Do you try to put your legs up high on some pillows or something whenever possible?

I have not used a heated leg product because heat makes my leg and feet swell more. I do wear compression stockings daily and they help a lot. In the hot weather if it is still a problem I soak my feet in really cold water and that helps me. It could be just me though.

Hi. First time. Has anyone tried heated leg
Products for foot and leg swelling?

Thanks!
What have you been prescribed?

Usually this would be things like wide heavy elastic bandages and high pressure compression stockings at least for daytime wear.

Something like a heating pad might provide comfort, particularly in Winter, but they should probably be used sparingly. Hot and cold extremes are usually contra-indicated for lymphedema.

Watch out for other complicating factors such as diabetes, which may be impeding circulation even beyond blocked flow of lymph.
