But I never saw the attraction, and detested the character as a person though she was excellent in her medical role. Thinking back though, her character in M.A.S.H. was complex, which was great.

I loved that show and I loved her portrayal of that character. She turned a character that was basically one joke into a very complicated person on many levels.

She was a Jersey girl, from Passaic, N.J. I kind of think of that as our sister city. May she R.I.P.

George Wendt passed away on May 20th, 10 days before Loretta. Although they didn't have any scenes together, they both appeared in the "M*A*S*H" episode "Trick or Treatment".

sometimes watch, they bring back memories.

Any guesses on who will be the next "M*A*S*H" actor to pass? Statistically, Jamie Farr since he's the oldest, but a lot depends on their health. I heard Alan Alda is struggling with Parkinson's.
