I still recall Arizona Jim. Heart failure long time ago. He told us he would die
On the Uk forums I've met up with groups and individuals over the years, we've had dinner or lunch together. on other occasions and other people we've gone shopping together at Christmas malls.. we've gone as a group of ladies to the beach .. I've even met the families of some of these people.. One time I even went to a beach wedding of forum members.. .. so having known them on the forum as well as off, it's very hard when they pass.. and worse if they disappear and we don't know what happened..
he'd been poorly for quite a long time, and then his wife died, and he just lost the will to live...I still recall Arizona Jim. Heart failure long time ago. He told us he would die
...and Hal.....My favorite poster , who passed on, was Lon. He was a cantankerous old geezer, who just wasn't in sync with the modern world. He claimed to be logical, but it was his own "Lon logic". I believe Lon was banned a few times. Every time he posted, you knew it was going to be good. I miss the guy.
A few years back an aquaintance passed after a short illness. Her sister deleted her FB profile literally the same day..so no friends had the opportunity to drop in and pay respects. So a mutual friend started a FB group called "In memory of ****"I have a few FB friends who have passed. I never met them but they became important to me. at a difficult times. A couple of those accounts are still active because their relatives made the decision to keep it active and on their birthdays I will post a birthday greeting (as do many others). It may sound silly but I equate it as visiting a grave site of someone who was special in my life.
