Lost in Youtube! Does this also happen to you?

I haven't gotten addicted to YouTube. I go there to look up classic songs, or record artists, but don't seem to get caught up in "clicking and viewing, clicking and viewing". I am more focused on whatever brought me there, and usually get back to what I was doing before I ventured to YT.

I don't know as if I am addicted but I follow about 83 channels there. I don't think it is a bad thing to do. I have learned a lot on that site. As well as recipes and how to fix things. I follow one channel for a while then when I lose interest I get rid of it and find something else.

I just read somewhere that you can watch youtube on tv. It didn't say what it costs o how you get it, I would love to know.
Well, if you have a smart tv, you can watch it there, almost like on the computer. I think you’ll need something like a Fire stick or Roku on your tv. We have Roku built in to the tv. If you want to ā€œcut the cableā€ you can subscribe and get most of the content you would get with a cable service. Or,you can just do what we do, and watch the free content. Of course, since Dave retired, I rarely get my hands on the remote, so that’s where my knowledge stops. 😜.

I love watching the old Julia Child cooking shows on You Tube. She was so talented and funny!

When I get tired of watching how to properly cut up a chicken, I usually drift over to watching dance competitions or talent shows like The Voice. Then funny dogs and kittens. Then....OMG, I was supposed to start dinner a hour ago!

Yes, I really like YouTube. For specific tutorials like knitting or other crafting.

I've also had some video suggestions where I now follow the channels. I'll also hit the 'not interested' or 'ignore channel' when needed.

No. I just use YouTube if I’m searching for DIY info. Sometimes a blogger I follow will have something on YT.
