Lots Of DNA In The NYC Subway System-Including Bubonic Plague

Also found were traces of Mozzeralla and Italian cheese. Along with traces of medical device infections.

That's hardly surprising since bubonic plague is carried by rats, or at least fleas that live on rats, and I expect there may be the odd rat in the NY subway system.

There was a plague death in China last year, and multiple deaths in Madagascar the year before.

The media in particular has to better distinguish between 'eliminated', 'eradicated', 'under control' or 'no reported cases of'. I've always heard that rodent poop is one the biggest carrier of disease. I think in the US setting aside medical advances that better sanitation, nutrition and/or living conditions has helped prevent or minimize alot of these older diseases that would've been catastrophic centuries ago.

Still working on "unidentified" and cheese dna. I guess that why they say pizza is a big contributor to overweight people. If cheese/dna won't dissipate in the NYC subway system no wonder it won't leave human body fat cells.

I've had a few encounters with NYC rats, and let me tell you, some of those suckers are almost as big as chihuahuas.

Rats and roaches - the REAL citizens of NY!
