Lotsa' Dots & Spots

The first time I fell (outside of fainting in the house), I had tripped over one of those things. I was wearing sneakers, walking too fast and not lifting my feet high enough, I guess. I hurt my knees but had 5 or 6 blocks to go before I got home. 😰 I put my hands down to catch myself and fractured my pinky. Under the advisement of my son, I went to a specialist who ordered a stat, custom made cast which I had to wear for a few weeks. That was several years ago and I still can't line that pinky up like on the right hand.

Camille Pissarro (1830 – 1903)

Pissarro met Georges Seurat and Paul Signac, who had already begun to use the Pointillist technique. Pissarro readily embraced and implemented Pointillism in his works and was one of the artists whose works greatly stood out within the Pointillist group. A well-known Pointillism painting of his is Gelée Blanche, Jeune Paysanne Faisant du Feu, which he painted between 1887 and 1888.
