LOL - connecting everything to Coronavirus. Floor cleaners, carpet shampooers, UV lights, hand sanitizers, vacuum cleaners....
Today, I'm watching one of my favorite shows - "Motor Week." They were doing a review on a new 2021 convertible Lexus LC500 Coupe.
The host said "If you want to social distance in style, this is the way to do it."
And you can do it for only $103,000.00.
I think I'll buy two, but only if they throw in a few masks.

Yeah, it seems that nearly every TV commercial is trying to claim that their product, and the company that produces it, is being "socially responsible". The Marketing people who write these commercials are just using this virus to further enhance their profits.

In a similar vein, have you noticed that in the past 4 or 5 months, since these BLM protests and riots started consuming half the daily news reports, the number of minority actors appearing in these commercials have skyrocketed.

The people who write these commercials are always quick to take advantage of any current "issues" that they can use to convince the public to purchase their questionable products.

This has always been true. Marketing 101. Identify your potential customers, learn what resonates with them, figure out what they want or need, then refine your pitch to that demographic. The faster the response to an opportunity, the better. Early bird/worm.

As for more minority actors in commercials, it's about bloody time Madison Avenue got "woke."
