Low water pressure in hot water tap of kitchen sink

Yeah as indicated above the aerator is not the issue, but it's a simple thing to check and it needs periodic inspection and cleaning anyway.

I don't agree that the "facet" is not the issue since the mixing valve or cartridge is inside the faucet. Until I see a picture indicating otherwise the handles are part of the faucet. Seeing how the faucet is only 2 years old one and it's having issues it's likely a cheaper, big box item that are prone to early failure. The HW supply doesn't degrade completely over night, but rubber o-rings can disintegrate and plug up the works quickly.
See above, the water valves appear to be separate from the down spout....as I suspected!

Rust or mineral deposits clogging at the hot water faucet valve seat . Disassemble HW valve and remove obstruction.
This is what I would guess at too. Mineral deposits mess up with anything water related…. Dishwashers, washing machines, kettle, hot water tanks etc

Deb didn't mention lime scaling or if her water tested hard. That as her problem seems most logical to me & the recommendations to solve that as an issue sound really good.

Deb, good for you for asking questions about repairs prior to calling a repairperson. At least you’ll have a reasonable idea of what they’re talking about when they start the repairs.
About a year ago, I called a plumber about a problem. The first thing he asked was how old was the plumbing. I said I assumed it was the original, so about 30 years. He said that the whole system should be re-plumbed. Sounded expensive, so I nixed his service.

Do you have a well or municipal water?
If you have a well then you definitely have some amount of hard water. ( mineral deposits )

Run the hot water in your bathroom for ten minutes. You need to call a plumber. It could be your pressure tank. ( you say you don’t have one ) You’ve got to have something that creates pressure for the water to flow through the pipes.

Scratch the above - you aren’t on a well. I thought you had well water.

Sounds like there's something wrong with the hot water valve (inside green circle in picture)
It may need to be taken apart and cleaned real good.
Wouldn't be a bad idea to take the cold water valve apart and clean while at it.

You'll probably need a handy guy for the job.

Only thing I can think of to try ... but pretty sure it won't fix anything ... but at least you can say, Yeah I tried that.
COMPLETELY CLOSE the hot water supply valve underneath the sink
TURN ON the hot water in the sink ... not much will come out.
TURN OFF the hot water in the sink ... or not ... just let it run when you do the next step
COMPLETELY OPEN the hot water supply valve underneath the sink
... turn on the hot water in the sink and see if that made any difference

None of our answers are going to make much of a difference since Deb isn't going to do any trouble shooting or repairs herself.

To answer your question of "who to call", unless you know a qualified handyman call a plumber.

The furnace unit runs during the summer to heat the water, it just doesn't circulate through the floor like when the actual furnace is turned on.
That’s really cool. The woodmanship on her plumbing looks really good too. It’s a 30 year old house but still looks brand new. What a huge change from her last house. Best decision she ever made. I thought she had a well but she doesn’t.
