I was just reading that, Keesha! Too young!
Only thing I know him from is Beverly Hills 90210 and mainly because my daughter watched the show.
When I heard last week of his massive stroke, I was hoping he’d make it.

He was far too young. I know him from 90210 because I watched it. ( 50 shades of red here )

I always like him. I thought he was a very good actor and even enjoyed the Beverly Hills show. I'll miss him popping up now and then in the made for TV movies as well.
I did also Ruth. He seemed to be a genuinely nice person with a wonderful disposition.

I knew he had a massive stroke, but thought he'd pull through since he was relatively young. The news said he was under observation, and not many details, then the shocker today. 
His death coincides with the reboot of 90210 going on right now. Luke was going to be in a few of the new episodes, but was committed to filming Riverdale. I didn't watch him in Riverdale, but watched 90201 religiously along with Knots Landing.

He was in a Hallmark movie, Love in Paradise, a couple years ago, too. Not too bad, you know, they all seem to have the same predictable outcome, but hey, sometimes I can really use a feel good movie....well actually, more than sometimes.

I knew who he was but never really followed his career. But I was stunned to hear his age especially after seeing some photos in which he looked like he was in his 60s. There were several photos he didn't look well. They say he had colon issue but I doubt that would cause a stroke. They did say he smoked for a while. Seems like a good guy with few or no celebrity scandals but I can't help but think there was something else at play here. I've known people late 40s and early 50s with stroke issues but never one big one. I've known people in 30s to have heart attacks.

I was 49 when I had my massive stroke and survived. Brain aneurysm ruptured, brain swelled so they put me in medical induced coma for 2 months, went to take me off life support and I came out of coma. Had intensive therapy. Had to learn how to swallow, eat, walk and talk again. Had aggressive inpatient rehab 3 times a day for 3 months then months of out patient rehab. Still have late effects cva but was able to return to work full time for 10 years until our office closed. Still do accounting at home and feel very blessed. Wish the same could have happened for Luke.

Thanks, Keesha, I do realize how blessed I am. I was very close to being removed from life support as my daughters knew I did not want to live like that. I have had 2 more episodes with that aneurysm and had to have them both coiled. But I recognize the symptoms when it acts up and go in for an angiogram. I try to be proactive about my health and urge anyone with severe migraine headaches to be checked for an aneurysm. Since the rupture I have not had any headaches of any kind. The neurosurgeon said the aneurysm had been causing my severe headaches since I was 12 years old. I took migraine meds for years and at times spent the night in hospitals to stop them. I was blessed to have excellent health insurance then and I kept the hospital bill for several years. I cringe to think what that hospital bill would be these days.
Glad you're still with us. You should be a poster child for perseverance. And ouch, those old hospital bills. Insurance companies and/or doctors/hospitals weren't exactly consumer friendly decades ago either. I found bills from relatives in which it took years to settle a couple of extended hospital stays.
I had extremely active relatives who had an aneurysm developing apparently for decades but didn't affect them until their late 70s/early 80s. Actually they just felt sick/dizzy at times almost fainting several. But when the doctor told them no more driving or long trips they mentally retired from life. Literally packed their bags and went into a assisted living home just waiting to pass. They were a smoker and used butter by the teaspoon. No heart trouble but the doctors said that aneurysm was developing for years. I get nervous at times because I used to use inversion tables and boots at the gym.
But with this actor and age I don't know. If it wasn't an aneurysm I'm wondering if it could have been poor hydration. He looked like a 60 something senior in several pictures. His face looked like he spent a lifetime in a desert without a had with dry leathery skin with deep creases. When they body is dehydrated the blood thickens up. Some people can't stand drinking water. I'm wondering if he was one of them.
