A limited-edition macaroni and cheese-flavored ice cream hit freezers nationwide this week, Brooklyn-based ice cream maker Van Leeuwen and Kraft Heinz announced. The cheesy frozen treat went on sale for $12 a pint on Wednesday, marking National Macaroni & Cheese Day, the companies said. It will be available for purchase in Van Leeuwen’s stores across the country as well as online while supplies last.​

I remember holidaying in Scotland, and there was a farm that made it's own ice cream.
Beetroot flavoured ice cream, well, I like beetroot and adore ice cream, but let me tell you this, the two together taste like 'cack', and my pee was pink for two days.

They can keep my share. I like mac and cheese and I like ice cream but the two together does not appeal to me!

Kraft Heinz and Brooklyn-based Van Leeuwen Ice Cream partnered to make a limited-edition macaroni and cheese-flavored ice cream last week - and the odd concoction sold out immediately with a promise more is on the way.​

Still, the food oddity wasn't exactly a hit on social media, depending on how you measure it: It got lots of attention, but much of that was along the lines of 'Yuck!' A reviewer, though, said it was better than expected - with a buttery flavor. ​

While many on social media decried the concept of mac and cheese flavored ice cream, Van Leeuwen still sold out of the flavor a day after its debut on July 14 - National Macaroni & Cheese Day, it says. The ice cream was sold online nationwide, as well as at their ice cream shops located in New York, Texas, New Jersey and California. The company said more mac and cheese ice cream would be on the way. It sells for $12 a pint.​

When I read about x-flavoured this and that I can't think of anything else other than laboratory chemicals that are sure to give you cancer.

I am looking forward to scientists developing mustard-flavored bananas because it's so much trouble dipping the banana into the mustard jar.
