This is amazing, that must be very hard work to do manually for sure!

Just one more example of how technology and automation are replacing the need for human labor. I sometimes wonder just what people are going to do in the future in order to support themselves. Without manufacturing and other labor intensive, good paying jobs, all that will be left are "service" type jobs...most of which will not pay very well.

It's going to get really difficult for lots of folks for just the reason you mentioned Don. That's one of the reasons I refuse to use those 'self-checkers' in some supermarkets and big box stores. I think Home Depot has them. They are replacing people and I'd rather people had jobs.

I made a career of maintaining data processing equipment and computers. I started out working on the old "punched card" machines...most of which are now little more than Museum Pieces. Computers are doubling in capacity and capability every couple of years, and it won't be long before they are able to out think humans. The populations keep growing, and the need for human labor keeps declining...not a good sign for the future.
