If you recall, I. said some bad things about daughter's boyfriend first time I met him. It was a long time ago and daughter resented me for voicing opinion, I was wrong and I regret saying what I said.
Yesterday, daughter, boyfriend, wife and me had reservations to eat. However, daughter lost her job Friday and asked to reservations. Wife and I put together a care package of food and goodies and brought it to them. I didn't recognize the boyfriend, it had been so long. i asked him if I could hug him and everything was made right. He gave wife and me a book a piece and we visited a while outside of daughter's apartment.
Daughter emailed wife when we got home, boyfriend appreciated hug, He was worried about me not liking him, all is well.
