White bread or brown, rye or multigrain

What you going to put on that bread?

Mustard or Mayo? or something else?

Maybe just Peanut Butter and Jam? Boring but nice once in awhile.

I am having the latter, today is a boring day.

This is my favourite sandwich in summer ...I usually eat seeded wholemeal.. but on this salad sandwich it has to be white bread.. and only one slice..

One slice of white soft bread.. spread with Mayo.. or dressing of choice

Lambs lettuce ( cold meat of choice ) .. sliced plum tomatoes.. grated carrot, thinly sliced radishes.. drizzle of honey and mustard dressing..

Top then with slightly warm sliced hard boiled eggs.. rock salt, grated cheese.. and a little more dressing..

Deeelicious....

This is my favorite summer breakfast sandwich. Delicious on whole grain bread with ripe garden tomatoes.🍅

Instead of bread: tortilla or roti (Indian flat bread) - either open face OR a "wrap OR grilled with cheese/onions/leftover meat ".

Well a PBnJ is one of my go to sandwiches. But if I'm making another kind of sandwich I would use mayonnaise (I never use mustard), or maybe even homemade Russian dressing. I always use either split top wheat, honey wheat or naan bread, which technically is the white variety.

Peanut butter and banana is good. So is sliced radish with just a schmere of butter and a touch of salt. Whole wheat bread always.

A multigrain bread with nothing more than first-rate ham and Swiss cheese is one of my favorites. No condiments please, I want to taste the ham and cheese.

I also, love a grilled Brie and tomato sandwich on multigrain bread.

My 3rd preference is a multigrain bread buttered and piled high with rare roast beef.

Don't eat much bread but, if you're going to make a sandwich, make it a good one!
Finally found a hard crust bread roll that's super soft inside. This is a MUST!
The right bread is the whole foundation!
Fill this with thin sliced turkey meat, shaved MORTADELLA, thin sliced provolone cheese,
you can add ham and salami if you want. olives, tomatoes, bacon, whatever you like in a sandwich.
and you can add either shaved lettuce with an herbed oil/ vinegar sauce or
put whatever as your condiment choice. You can add pepperoncini if desired.

Yumpin Yimminy! That's good!

For breakfast this morning, and supper last night.. I had Pitta bread toasted.. filled with mixed lettuce leaves.. sliced plum tomatoes.. and Italian Prosciutto ...with a little bit of Mayo and Honey Mustard sauce...deelishus :p😋

Well I love bread so anything. But I can't eat the 'nut and seeds' breads because the nuts and seeds don't agree with my stomach. So when I want healthy, I do the sprouted wheat.
