The only thing I can say is that the dog is better off without that creep, he appears to be a friendly happy dog.

An investigation has been launched after a man was caught abandoning a dog in Stoke-on-Trent. The heartbreaking CCTV shows a man carrying a dog bed and unclipping the dog's lead before driving away. The RSPCA is requesting any information from the public on the individual seen driving off. The footage was Monday, December 17, 2018 a little after 5 PM.

The dog, being called "Snoop", is now being cared for by the RSPCA and has appeared on Good Morning Britain, prompting many offers for a new home.

(More videos of Snoop and additional information are in the article below.)

I have a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes.

That's just stone-cold EVIL. I don't understand because the dog really seemed to like him. Maybe he was just too lazy to find another home for him or an appropriate place to take him. Maybe he thought someone would feel sorry for the dog and take it home--if he didn't get run over first. Who knows, maybe this was a revengeful act against someone else who really loved the dog but who he thought did him wrong. People can be like that. What a sad image, the poor dog retreating to his bed on the street not knowing what else to do. Feeling so abandoned. I hope karma gets this guy good.

My heart aches for this precious dog .. seeing him jumping up on the car door, then going to his bed.

Why on earth do some people even have dogs? They must be completely ignorant about the responsibilities of pet ownership. More education is in order.

I'm just glad the little guy didn't get run over either by the butt-head that dropped him off, or by other traffic.

And of course glad offers of a new home are coming in.
