Yup, just goggled it. But thanks. My zucchini is not poison, thank heaven. And while my straight neck yellow squash are over producing to the point I took one out and only have 2 plants left, they still produce too much. The zucchini have lots of flowers but much less zucchini.

People walk down the street and I rush towards them screaming ”want some squash“?

When I was in grade school I got so sick that I went to my friends house to wait to go to school with her which I always did and immediately starting vomiting. I laid on my neighbours floor for the entire day cause I could barely move without the room spinning. I thought I was going to die at about 10. It was horrible.

It's so scary because those zucchini/courgettes look exactly like the ones sold in grocery stores.

We've tried growing them several times, this year included, but decided that the meager crop isn't worth the garden space, aggravation or water. During the height of the season I can buy them for about $.50 per pound.

Some cucumbers I bought were bitter but I've never encountered bitter courgette/zucchini. My family and I tried this bitter gourd but I was the only one couldn't swallow it.

Sounds terrible. I can't ever recall being that sick from food poisoning. Yes, I've had the "coming out of both ends" unpleasantness for a day or so, but nothing like what you're talking about. Do you know what made you sick?

I'm convinced it was a head of lettuce I had bought that day that went into the making of a taco salad.

So scary it was, how fast our bodies rejected the poison. We ate, all tasted delicious, and 30 minutes later we were on all-fours.

I had food poisoning when I was10 from a Heart of Gold candy, it was the cream filling and the company paid my medical bills. Even though I have a terrible memory now, you never forget food poisoning.

Plus I never used my lunch money for a candy bar again. Grandma said next time god will really make you sick . Grandma wouldn’t lie? Would she?

To this day I don’t have a clue what it was from but will never forget that day. You throw up so much that you dehydrate yourself which adds to the problem and then need to drink water which doesn’t stay down.

I have never been more sick in my day, and dear husband the same.

I still think about it, Star, how much force was behind us emptying our stomachs. A tremendous amount of pressure.

The human body is so amazing in so many ways, and when I see how some people abuse themselves, yet they're still alive, I just can't get over how resilient and forgiving the human body is.
