Man turns in $3,000 found on sidewalk, saves family's Christmas

Police in Wisconsin said an honest stranger who found $3,000 on a sidewalk saved Christmas for a family by helping return the cash.

The Wausau Police Department said a resident walking in the city found a bundle containing $3,000 cash, multiple Christmas gift envelopes and a bank receipt.

Maybe not so natural these days.
I had a similar experience & I ended up never speaking to 2 people again who I thought were friends.

You just never know who will be most honest. DD’s ex was a policeman. A local street fellow insisted that he had to return the $4,000 he found in a purse via her ex. Seems the fellow liked that the ex had been nice to him when he was patrolling the park. Being that this was a ‘working‘ area the woman never reported it missing the last I’d heard.
