Many businesses are doing it tough will the lack of customers through the doors

Over the previous month I have contacted a nursery, a Laptop repair business, a wrecking yard and an air conditioner service business via their on line contact forms.
None of them got back to me.
They are obviously too busy, or not interested enough to reply.
Business people out there, lift your game.

Did you then try calling them directly. Not that a phone call is a guarantee. Often businesses just can’t be bothered if they think it’s too small a job. It’s been like that for years.

I put in an online application to get the grey cat that is now at my workplace fixed. He would have to be trapped.

I hope I hear back. There is a vet shortage but the PAWS store funds them as well as owner spay/neuter assist. So I know they have the money.

When I bought my toyota years ago, I went to the local dealership and didn't like the shark feeling. So I went home and e mailed a dealership about 45 minutes away that a co-worker recommended. I got a reply within the hour. Bought my car there the next week. They were super nice.

They set up the form but then neglect it, possibly because they get a lot of time-wasting spam. I have had the same experience. I always look for a phone number, but that too can be a frustrating experience with an outsourced person. Sometimes, it seems that technology has taken us backwards in some ways.

The Spousal Equivalent had a prescription he was having trouble getting. He tried for two days to call his doctor's office, couldn't get through to a human and left messages, none of which were returned.

So today, he drove over there to talk to them in person. When he complained about not being able to get in touch, he was told "Yeah, when we're really busy, we don't answer the phones."

Time to find another doctor, I'd think.

Of all the nerve!

I never call them. If there is a contact form I use that, no reply? I go elsewhere.
Other businesses replied, job completed.
