I love Mardi Gras and am really looking forward to it this year. It's going to be all carbs all the time! Donuts, brownies, spaghetti and garlic bread. And cards; we'll play cards. It's a week from this Tuesday so I'm really hoping to be all well by then.

When I worked in the lab, that was a fellow that had connections to New Orleans. Around this time, he would bring in huge king cake. It seemed the same guy always found the baby in it. There were also assorted Mardi Gras necklaces. I still have some of them.
